Domainer Kevin McKim in TurboTax Commercial

I’ve often wondered what people do when they are not working on their domain investments. I recently learned that Kevin McKim of Name Innovations, operator of dotWhatever.com and BrandableNames.com, is also an actor and is featured in the TurboTax commercial that is currently seeing major television airtime.

In the Turbo Tax commercial which I embedded below, Kevin is the wedding officiant with the important speaking lines. He is seen several times during the commercial. The ad is part of TurboTax’s tax season campaign, and it was shot the first week of November in Malibu, California. It’s a national spot and it will probably play heavily the next few months in all mediums and markets. You may have already seen it during the Golden Globes, and perhaps he will also be seen during the Super Bowl.

Congratulations to Kevin for his part in this clever advertisement!

  1. Well done Kevin. This is one of the better commercials I have seen in a while, and you make it even better. I would not be surprised to see your mug on TV in the future. Maybe they will someday let you wear a headband on screen that reads “NameInnovations.com”.
