Disney Hiring Domain Name Program Manager

The Walt Disney Company posted a job listing on LinkedIn and is looking to hire a Domain Names Management Program Manager. This is an important corporate domain name management role as Disney operates many different brands and companies in a wide variety of industries.

Here’s an excerpt from the overview of this job post:

“Domain names are critical intellectual property assets, as well as part of the technical infrastructure of web, e-mail, and other applications. The Domain Names Management (DNM) team sits within Enterprise Technology’s Processes and Performance, Business Operations Team. The DNM team is responsible for management and governance of the company’s domain name portfolio, front-line service for the domain names in the Corporate business segments, as well as supporting work involving domain names across the company.”

In the Preferred Qualifications of this job listing, Disney mentions several domain industry specific areas of expertise for this position. Someone who has domain management experience at domain registry, corporate domain registrar, or a brand protection company might make a good fit for this role.

This job opening was posted earlier this week on LinkedIn. So far, 26 people have applied for this job. The location of this job is listed as “Hybrid,” so I presume there are home-work and in-office components.
