The Internet Commerce Association released the list of the nine nominees for the 2021 Lonnie Borck Memorial Award. These nine nominees were selected by domain industry peers, and the ICA membership will vote to select a group of three finalists for this year’s award. The nine nominated domain industry participants in alphabetical order are:

- Michael Cyger
- Jothan Frakes
- Richard Lau
- Gerald Levine
- Donna Mahony
- Gregg McNair
- Bob Mountain
- Adam Strong
The ICA is using ranked choice voting in order to determine the 3 finalists. Each ICA member is able to choose a first, second, and third place nominee, and that will determine the finalists. ICA members have until November 20th to make their selections. The ICA Board will then meet to vote on an award winner.
The award will be handed out during a virtual session of the NamesCon Global conference in January.
