When it comes to domain registrations, price is not the biggest factor for me. Trust, support availability, and ease of use are all more important than the price of domain name registrations, as long as the price is in line with the average. I am not going to transfer or register domain names to save a few dollars if I don’t fully trust the registrar and company behind it.
Over the past couple of years, Atom.com has gained my trust. I have sold more than ten domain names via Atom, and the platform operators quickly respond to any issues and/or feedback to provide a better experience for customers.
Atom recently launched its domain registrar. In doing so, the company offered incentives to customers who register or transfer domain names to the platform. Last week, the company announced a special offer for .AI domain name registrations and inbound transfers. The timing was intentional because the registration cost of .AI domain names is increasing in March.
.ai prices are going up in March 📈
Lock in 2 years at $136 before the increase.

I had asked about an incentive to moving domain names to Atom, and I learned the platform is offering a commission discount for domain names registered at Atom that sell on its platform. I currently have 44 .AI domain names listed for sale at Atom out of around 300 names in total.
With the lower pricing and lower commission for selling an Atom-registered domain name on the platform, I decided to move a small group of my .AI domain names to Atom. I will probably move more domain names before the offer expires. The only thing holding me back is that many don’t expire for over a year, and I would rather use the free cash to acquire more .AI domain names than renew far in advance.
I think this is a pretty good deal, and I will most likely move more of my domain names to the registrar in the next couple of weeks.
Note: In looking at the Atom Edge page, you need to have 100+ domain names registered at Atom to get the commission discount.

The info about the “reduced commission” is confusing and contradictory. Their “atomedge” page says we need to have 100 domains to qualify, but in other places one can
hearsee different things.Don’t you have to have at least 100 domains with them to get the discounts?

I just asked about that.
I must have missed that when I saw their reply to me on X.
