I was very fortunate to have a strong year selling domain names in 2025. I wasn’t anticipating it to be as solid as it was, but I was happy with the results, especially considering I grew my portfolio to more than 2,500 domain names over the last year.
I thought I would share some information about where I sold domain names last year. Some of the sales were inbound and passive and a few were generated by outbound marketing.
I averaged a little more than one sale a week at Afternic. Several of these deals were checkout links from inbound inquiries (Whois emails, inbound inquiries from my own landers, old leads) and outbound efforts.
I sold two domain names via Spaceship.
I sold four domain names via Sedo.
I sold one domain name via GoDaddy’s DBS service and a second DBS deal was completed via Afternic.
I sold two domain names via domain brokers who worked on behalf of clients.
I sold one domain name via Domain Agents.
I sold seven domain names via Atom.com (three were Atom Pay).
In addition to the domain names that were sold, I started and continued many LTO deals at GoDaddy, Atom.com, Escrow.com, and via law firm escrow.

In your opinion, who performed better all around that include user experience? Atom, afternic etc?
For my inventory quality names (< $5k), Afternic.
Didn’t I hear that their fees are astronomically super high??
Price accordingly, I would say.
