Uniregistry App Update Available

The Uniregistry app was released just prior to NamesCon and was a topic of discussion amongst attendees after Frank Schilling’s keynote. I downloaded the app and played around with it a bit, and I must complement the design team on the work that went into creating the app.

Yesterday evening, Frank Schilling announced (via Twitter) that an updated version of the Uniregistry app is now available via iTunes /  the Apple app store. People can upgrade their current 1.0 version or download the newest version if they don’t have the app yet on their phone or tablet.

Someone asked Frank about a Uniregistry app for Android users, and Frank shared that it will be available in “march – maybe April.”

I can see the utility for an app like this, although I have not really had the need to use an app, likely due to the size of my portfolio (around 500+/- domain names). Perhaps the app version is easier to use than the website from my desktop browser, but I am not regularly in any of my domain registrar websites. I will make it a point to use the app the next time I need to log into my Uniregistry control panel.

On a separate note, if you have been beta testing the Uniregistry Market, I would love to hear about it!
