Top Closed Sales in Thought Convergence Auction

Last month, Thought Convergence held a group of auctions on NameJet / SnapNames to sell its domain names. There were quite a few exceptional domain names that sold in the auction, and I had been monitoring the Whois records via DomainTools to be able to track when the auctions were paid for and domain names transferred.

After seeing several of the domain names transfer to new registrants (including Operate.com) I reached out to Newfold Digital (parent of NameJet and SnapNames) to ask for a list of the top sales that have closed. Here are the top 12 sales from the Thought Convergence auctions:

  • Trainer.com – $290,000
  • Aftermarket.com – $280,001
  • AKA.com – $248,400
  • Operate.com – $190,000
  • Threat.com – $186,000
  • Oversee.com – $77,500
  • Faithful.com – $69,828
  • Helpline.com – $57,600
  • Caddy.com – $55,000
  • StructuredSettlement.com – $39,000
  • Invest.net – $35,250
  • Clandestine.com – $26,006

These sales will be added to the DNJournal sales report and NameBio database once officially reported by Newfold. I am pretty certain they will be recorded as 2021 sales, but they may be counted as 2022 sales when reported. I added the one word .com sales to the Embrace.com list of recent one word .com domain name sales, and I added the sale of AKA.com to the list of recent 3 letter .com domain name sales.
