Today is a Good Day to Get NamesCon Tickets

Last week, I wrote about the special discount being offered by NamesCon until tonight at midnight. The regular price is just under $600 and the discounted price (using  the  “FIREWORKS” promo code) is $299+ fees. I purchased my ticket yesterday, and I want to share why I bought it yesterday.

Although NamesCon is about 6 months away, I am almost certain I will attend the conference. I would need to be sick or have something major come up in order to not attend the event. With that said, it didn’t make sense to wait any longer to buy my ticket. Conference organizers may offer another special discount again, but this might be the best price. There’s no reason for me to take that chance. If something strange comes up to prevent me from attending, I could likely sell my ticket to another attendee or just eat the cost if necessary.

Buying my ticket so far in advance gives me time to scout out the best airfare prices. Most airlines have their January flight schedules posted right now, but I understand that 6 months+ is probably too far to book my flights. I can now keep track of prices and see how things shake out. When JetBlue announces an airfare deal, I will be ready to book my flights.

If you know you are going to be at NamesCon in January, now seems like a good time to book. I didn’t want to risk paying more in the future when I know I will be going, so I bought my ticket yesterday. This “FIREWORKS” offer ends tonight at midnight.
