Squadhelp Adds Escrow.com as a Payment Option

Squadhelp has added Escrow.com as a payment option for buyers. The addition of the Escrow.com option was shared by ARIYAS on X this morning:

I visited some of my Squadhelp listings, and the domain names all had the option for buyers to select Escrow.com for payment.

I think this is a good addition. Escrow.com is a fairly well-known and trusted brand name in the domain space and beyond. It’s reputation reaches beyond that of Squadhelp’s reputation, so perspective buyers may have more comfort using a third party escrow service like Escrow.com than using Squadhelp.

As far as I am aware, Squadhelp has not shared information about this integration. Since it appears to have been implemented across the board, I doubt there is an increased cost if a buyer chooses to use Escrow.com for payment instead of the Squadhelp in-house processing. I also presume Squadhelp will act as the intermediary between the buyer and Escrow.com rather than requiring the seller to get involved in the transaction.

I suspect more details will be forthcoming.
