Sedo’s September 2019 Great Domains Auction Results

Sedo’s Great Domains monthly auction ended this afternoon, and there 21 domain names that sold in the auction. The largest sale of the month was Upgrades.com, which closed at $32,000. I was a bidder in the auction, although I did not win it. DNE.com was the next highest sale, closing at $26,666. This was followed by two other three letter .com domain names – HVW.com and IYW.com.

The two biggest surprising results to me were the five figure sales of two .TW domain names. Cafe.TW and Movie.TW each sold for $10,100. I looked at NameBio, and the largest .TW sale of all time was Poker.TW, which sold for $30,916. There are no other publicly reported five figure .TW sales in NameBio’s database.

The auction just finished today, so it is unlikely any of these sales have actually closed yet. Once the buyers pay and the domain names are transferred, Sedo will report these sales to NameBio, DNJournal, and other domain investing news outlets. Until then, they should be considered pending.
