  1. There are a number of .CO domains in the auction. For Spanish domains, they could work but I don’t believe the general public is going to embrace .CO in the near future. Perhaps over time given the difficulty of finding .COM domains you may see .CO used as an alternative as .Net is now. But given the uncertainty, is it worth the risk investing in .CO in the aftermarket? We’ll see what transpires today but I will be surprised if more than 5-6% of the domains listed sell at / above reserves.

  2. everyone’s covering the Latona’s/TRAFFIC auction, was unfortunate timing for Snapnames to schedule the end of their generic keyword showcase auction today on the same day. looks like TRAFFIC stole the domain auction thunder. i’m guessing Snapnames auction results will be weak, though we’ll see, ends in about 3 hours.

  3. Hi Eliot,

Congratulations on your award. Well deserved.

Interesting that you didn’t pick any of the Spanish .co’s. There have been bids place on 4 of them including Seguro.co, Credito.co, and Coches.co. I think Spanish names go very will with the .CO extension and the Spanish market is a huge untapped mine.
