GoDaddy Now Offers LTO Checkout Links

Earlier today, GoDaddy announced that customers can now create checkout links for Lease to Own (LTO) deals. Customers have been able to import these types of leads for buy it now sales only.

Previously, customers were unable to initiate LTO deals with buyers at the reduced 10% commission rate. If a seller was negotiating with a prospective buyer and a LTO was appealing to that buyer, the seller would need to transact with an escrow service or eat the 20-25% commission for this type of deal. Now, sellers will pay a 10% commission and GoDaddy will administer the LTO transaction.

The maximum length of time for the self-administered LTO deal is 12 months, and the maximum sale amount for LTO deals is $100,000. I am hopeful GoDaddy will soon raise the maximum sale price for LTO deals.
