George Conway’s Domain Investor Experience

I can’t tell you how many times someone has learned about what I do for work, and they share a domain name story. Just yesterday, I was at a car dealership and the sales associate told me about a friend who creates funny domain names with his daughter.

George Conway, an attorney and political activist just experience what it is like to be a domain investor. Conway, who became most widely known when Donald Trump was serving as President, is a vociferous anti-Trump pundit. Apparently, he was at a diner yesterday, and someone approached him about a domain name the person registered:

I doubt DonaldJTrumpIsALoser.com has much (if any value), but the registrant certainly got his money’s worth in the way of promotion and amplification.

If a tweet like that from George Conway doesn’t get a domain name sold, I doubt much else will.

  1. domain is too long
i remember when people used to register politicians’ names anticipating they might run for POTUS
but i don’t believe these domains ever paid off, at least with any great ROI
some political group purchased wethepeople from me years ago, and i have no idea if they are blue, red, or purple … the price wasn’t that high
politicians are used to taking money, not giving it out — even to buy a great domain — and this one —- donaldtrumpisaloser is hardly a good domain — way too long …but would even LOSERTRUMP.com or LoserTrump.org sell? Maybe, maybe not or LOSERBIDEN.com or LOSERBIDEN.org — same — maybe/maybe not
