Swetha Yenugula recently reported the $50,000 sale of Surge.xyz. In her post about the sale, Swetha shared a screenshot of the Escrow.com closing statement, likely because of the flack she has received regarding previous .XYZ domain name sales. Swetha also mentioned the transaction was brokered by Domain Agents, a platform that represents buyers who want to acquire domain names anonymously.

Following a post that I made on X, Domain Agents independently confirmed the acquisition, and noted that the domain name was acquired by an end user buyer:
This is a confirmed sale to an end user.

That end user buyer has begun using the domain name. It’s no surprise by me given historical usage of .XYZ domain names, but it looks like Surge.xyz will be used by a crypto-related business.
Congratulations to Swetha on another solid domain name sale.
