Atom launched an automated domain name appraisal bot on X with the @AtomAppraise account. People interested in getting an automated appraisal from the platform can reply to this account on X with their domain name:
👋 Hi, I’m AtomAppraise.
AI-powered domain appraisals are coming soon to X âš¡
Tag this account with a domain name to get an appraisal in reply.
I’ll also share hidden gems from expiring auctions and closeouts 👀

I checked a couple of the appraisals posted on X with the same domain names directly on the Atom platform to see if there is any difference in valuation. For the domain names I checked, there was no difference.
I assume posting on X to the AtomAppraisal bot instead of privately checking the platform would be more about sharing with others mixed in with a bit of vanity.
For what it’s worth, I don’t place much weight on the accuracy of automated domain name appraisals, regardless of the source.

Nothing beats or has ever come close to Oceanfront Domains for both sanity and honesty, at least last time I checked. Not that AI could ever be conscious, but you know what I mean, and not just because I liked what it says.
“Appraisal” has normally only harmed the industry all these years, except for those with an interest in keeping it that way if they have their own obvious incentive.
I could say more of course.
