Aruba.com Featured on Every License Plate in Aruba

My wife and I took our kids to Aruba after she finished running the Boston Marathon last week. Neither of us had been to Aruba, and we wanted to explore somewhere in the Caribbean neither of us had visited before.

Aruba is home to beautiful beaches with welcoming people. We had a great trip. You don’t visit my blog for travel tips though. What caught my eye immediately after landing and hopping into a taxi was the license plates. Every license plate on cars, buses, trucks, taxis…etc. proudly features Aruba.com on them.

Aruba.com is a fully developed geodomain name that is owned and operated by the Aruba Tourism Authority. If you’re looking for places to visit and things to do in Aruba, Aruba.com is probably the best resource.

I don’t usually buy souvenirs from our travels, but I bought this old license plate to remind me of our great visit to Aruba and the country’s proud promotion of its valuable Aruba.com domain name.
