Andrew Rosener on Tim Ferriss Show Podcast

Andrew Rosener was the guest on the most recent Tim Ferriss Show podcast. The podcast is more than two and a half hours, and it is worth a listen in its entirety.

The podcast offers a deep dive into Andrew’s background. Andrew and Tim also spend considerable time discussing domain name investing in general, along with specifics. I really like how Andrew highlighted and distinguished the difference between domain investors and domain squatters.

In addition, Andrew discusses some ideas that domain investors can use for their own business. For example, I have done many lease to own and lease with purchase option deals, but I have not structured a single deal using an example Andrew suggested. It is something I will keep in mind when contemplating the next LTO deal directly with a prospective buyer.

In his blog post announcing the podcast, Ferriss posted several quotes from the interview and links to various articles and reference points from the discussion with Andrew.

I am not much of a podcast person, but I am nearly 2 hours into the interview and plan to listen to the rest tomorrow.

The video of the interview is embedded below:

  1. its a good listen andrew. not a lot of fluff. More people need to listen to this podcast.
thanks for passing it along eliot.

its worth the 2.5 hour listen vs. me watching the scfi channel (where I get all my news) for the same 2.5 hours.

albeit we were in panama 2009 – 2012 for 6 to 8 weeks a year – i know we tried to meet up there but never happened.

lots of good take-aways andrew – paraphasing you – here is my favorite in the words I have always used:
With enough money you can put anything in quotes on a billboard like “brianwick.ai” – but if you dont have a lot of dough for that …..well…..brianwick.com gets all the traffic by default.
