According to this week’s sales report, Afternic sold just under $650,000 in domain names last week, and a 3 letter .net domain name was the leading sale. Met.net now appears to be owned by a company called Harrowston Holding LP, although the landing page has not changed yet.
It appears that Tucows’ YummyNames was the owner of the domain name that sold for the second highest price last week. Interestingly, Xcite.com is parked at Internet Traffic, and the company used the “for sale” graphic with the Buy Domains contact information.

Yup, Xcite.com was a domain name owned by us that was listed and sold via Afternic DLS.
We sell a lot of domain names via this channel, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to move their inventory.

How has Internet Traffic been performing for you guys? What made you choose the Buy Domains sales message instead of Domain Name Sales?

We have only been testing InternetTraffic.com for about three weeks, but so far we have been delighted with the significant increase in revenue we have seen (a double digit percentage increase). I encourage portfolio holders with significant traffic to give Frank’s parking platform a try.
As for the sales message, we have had a lot of success over the years with BuyDomains/Afternic brokering inbound sales leads for us, so we like to display their message. We have never used Frank’s Domain Name Sales platform, but I am not ruling out trying it one day.
We are always experimenting and trying to find the best fit for us and our needs. Never a dull moment in domain land!
