500,000

Happy Friday! I want to take a minute to say thanks for visiting. I checked in with my Google Analytics account and saw that there have been over 500,000 visits to this blog in the past year from almost 300,000 unique visitors… very cool!

It’s been fun sharing what I am doing while learning new things from your comments and submissions. Thank you for visiting my blog and for helping to make it a resource for others who want to learn about the domain industry.

Hope you have a great weekend!

  1. Congratulations!!! 500K is a huge achievement and a testament to your hard work. Keep feeding the industry with your knowledge, insights and personality. Thank you for everything you do.

  2. Congratulations Elliot! The half a million quantity is awesome, and I’m sure if the Google Analytics can measure quality, your score would be much much higher. Keep it up, and have a great weekend!

  3. I heard somewhere that a professional website (where one can make enough money via their website to cover their living costs) requires 100,000 hits per month. You are around half-way to achieving that – Congrats 🙂

Maybe running google ads you need that much, but I assure you you can make a living with significantly less traffic on some websites.

  5. “Blogging is more of a hobby for me.”

What’s the difference between a man and a boy?

A man makes money even when she is not trying…while boys lose his shirt even if his life depend on it.
