2019 Nordic Domain Days Approaching

The 2019 Nordic Domain Days event will be taking place in Stockholm, Sweden from November 25-26, 2019. The annual domain name-focused event is a part of the larger Internet Days conference, which expects to host over 2,500 attendees. The event will be held at the Stockholm Waterfront Congress Center.

Here’s a general overview of the event, which you can see is primarily regional in nature:

“Nordic Domain Days is the domain industry event for the nordic countries and it carries a strong focus on networking between parties with interest in the region.”

From what I can tell, it looks like the majority of attendees scheduled to speak at the conference are affiliated with ccTLD and new gTLD registries. In fact, according to the agenda, “Nordic Domain Days will officially start with an update from the Nordic country code top-level domain names.” This includes .SE, .FI, and .DK. While the event is part of the Internet Days conference, Nordic Domain Days has a separate, but somewhat integrated agenda track.

If you are going to be in the area or can easily get to Sweden at the end of November, you may want to look into attending the conference. The price to attend is listed at 1 250 SEK excl. VAT (approximately $126 USD) per day, so approximately $250 USD for both days.
