Three Mike Mann Companies Make 2012 Inc. 500 List

According to a Facebook post from Mike Mann, three of his companies have made the prestigious 2012 Inc. 500  list of fastest growing companies in the United States. The full 2012 list has not been published online by Inc. yet, but it is expected that the list will be posted in the next week or so.

Mike’s Phone.com was the highest ranked of his three companies, coming in at #262. Next on the list was DomainMarket.com, which debuted at #292 on the list. These were followed by  SEO.com, which ranked at #491 on the list. When the list is published, you’ll be able to see the self-reported revenue numbers for these companies.

As you could expect, Mike was excited to hear the news. “I am so happy that all our hard work destined for charity is being recognized, and we hope to keep launching lots of new great socially conscious ventures,” he told me. You can read about these charitable and business ventures on MikeMann.com.

If you aren’t aware of the list, here’s more information about it and its history from the Inc. website:

In 1982, Inc. introduced the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. Since then, this prestigious list of the nation’s most successful private companies has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success and the place where future household names first make their mark.

Congratulations to Mike and the people who work for these growing companies.

  1. Hello Elliot,

I am so happy for Mike on this occasion. He has done for charities ,with his work, more than a 100 of his, nameless and spineless, detractors will ever do in their miserable little lives. Kudos MIKE !

Gratefully, Jeff Schneider (Contact Group) (Metal Tiger)

  2. Maybe in the name of charity DomainMarket staff can stop spamming people, that would be a very n ice act in itself.

Yes I know I own KEYWORDNAME.com, and you own KEYWORDNAMESOMETHING.com, and you are looking to sell or auction it off, stop the BS PLEASE!

  3. he’s certainly not shy about posting prices for names that are, to borrow a worn phrase, ‘outside the mainstream’, e.g., AltSound.com for $3M .

I guess that that’s a testament to capitalism, i.e., that you can ask any price you’d like for an asset without worry.

  4. @Ron
I am getting many spam emails from domainmarket.com too. I am lost vomit when see them.

Yeah charity – I would be surprised if MM forgot to mention it.

  5. Hello Mike, you are doing such a good thing of charity and make help for all the needy people. Thanks

  6. You’ll find that some of the most over-the-top ‘charitable’ people are some of the least desirable in terms of personality and true motivation.

People whose motivation in life is the pursuit of accolades will inevitably arrive at ‘charity’ for totally insincere reasons.

  7. Zappy (Zap) stole hundreds of thousands of real dollars from me before he wrote that and has a legal judgement against him for it, hiding his stolen assets, on drugs, duh
