Sedo Job Opening: Country Manager for the UK

If you are looking for a job within the domain name business, Sedo is looking to hire a Country Manager for the United Kingdom. Sedo is one of the largest domain name marketplaces, and it also offers an auction platform, domain name brokerage for higher end domain names, as well as a parking service.

Here is the job description from the listing:

“You are responsible for driving new and existing business in the UK market across all products and services while establishing and maintaining high-level relationships with key decision makers and ensuring both growth and long term client satisfaction.”

In the profile section of the job listing, there is no requirement for domain industry experience. I am not sure if that is because the industry is so small or if Sedo would prefer to hire someone from outside of the industry. Because of the nature of the job opportunity, I think someone with domain industry experience could be a good fit if Sedo is willing to hire someone who has this experience.

Although the position is a Country Manager for the UK, the job will be based out of Sedo’s office in Cologne, Germany. I would imagine there will be a travel requirement, but Sedo’s Human Resources department would be able to answer that question and any other questions applicants may have.

You can read more about the job opening on the StepStone website. To apply for the job or get more information about the position, send an email to jobs@sedo.de.

Thank you to Adam Yamada-Hanff for sharing this job opening with me.

  1. Thanks for the post, Elliot!

We are excited for the potential applicants for this role and would certainly welcome candidates with industry experience. We just don’t want to limit our search to only those with this type of experience hence why it’s not a requirement.
