Name.com Contest Winner Announced

I want to thank everyone for participating in the Valentine’s Day domain name poetry contest sponsored by Name.com. The winner of this contest won a $250 credit from Name.com!

I am very happy to announce that the winning video is embedded below. It was submitted by Klajdi Hena.

*** Update***

I am personally going to give $50 Name.com credits to the other four people who created videos.

  1. @ jp

I said “We are looking for the most original and humorous poem, and they don’t have to start with “Roses are Red…” just valentine’s day domain name poetry.

  2. This sounds more like a Name.com promo song, not a Valentines Day / Domain Name related poem… sorry but this contest has FAIL written all over it, I guess I didn’t kiss butt enough.

  3. I see where @Tippy is coming from (in regards to the “poem” aspect). However, I would say this contest was anything but a failure.

    Great job @Elliot and @namedotcom!

  4. …sorry this doent sound anything like a Valentines day poem related to domains, I rest my case. Like I said I didnt kiss butt enough, my bad.

  5. Good, so we agree, it was a song related to Name.com

Lets leave it at that, as that is the point I was trying to make anyways. Sorry to everyone else who submitted a Valentines/Domain related Poem, we obviously misunderstood the Contest rules, our bad.

  6. Tell you what… The other 4 people who didn’t win will get $50 Name.com credits courtesy of me. I appreciate the time you all took.

  7. I will be in touch with the 4 $50 winners once I hear back from Name.com to find out what info they need (ie names, emails, and/or account #s to facilitate this).

  8. If it’s coming out of your pocket Elliot. I don’t want it. Contest is a contest. A beer one day in New York with ya, I’ll take.
