Jim Grace No Longer with Domain Holdings

I’ve heard many positive things about Jim Grace, and I just learned that he has been let go by Domain Holdings after working for the company for nearly a year and a half. With his extensive domain industry experience, I am sure he will find a position quickly, but I wanted to help spread the word about his availability for companies that are hiring.

Jim started in domain name monetization at Revenue.net, which was Oversee’s attempt at an ad network, and he then moved to Domain Sponsor after a year. He worked at Domain Sponsor for another seven years in sales and account management, and that is where many people in the domain space got to know him. According to Jim, “Oversee was a great company to work for and training ground for traffic optimization/monetization.” Prior to Oversee, Jim worked in the entertainment business, with stints at Spelling Entertainment and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

After seeing a change in his LinkedIn profile and being notified by a mutual friend, I reached out to Jim to ask what he’s interested in doing within the domain investment space. Jim replied, “I am looking for a bizdev or monetization director/account manager position. I am hoping to remain in traffic monetization but could easily see transferring my skills to ad networks or lead gen platforms.” While at Domain Holdings, Jim became experienced in 0-click and non-Google feed monetization.

Although I haven’t worked with Jim in the past, I asked my friend Lonnie Borck of B-52 Media about his experience working with Jim. According to Lonnie, “I have gotten to known Jim over the years, and working with him has always been a pleasure. He is one of the nicest people in the business and would be an asset to any organization.” Jim was a favorite account manager and trusted advisor to many in this business, and I imagine it won’t be long until he’s working at another industry company.

Jim currently lives in Los Angeles, and he would prefer to either work in the LA area or possibly work remotely from his LA home office.  You can contact him via email (jimpgrace “at” sbcglobal.net) if you’d like to discuss an opportunity.

  1. Jim and I had lunch last week to discuss various opportunities. He really has a lot to offer. He’s always been a great rep and really knows his stuff. I’d highly recommend him as a traffic monetization specialist or an acct manager. He’s going to get scooped up any day now by a smart company.

  2. Jim was great at DomainSponsor. Out of all of the people I dealt with at DS, I would say that Ron S. and Jim were the best at DS. I always knew that if I had a problem, Jim would go out of his way to resolve the problem quickly.

As everyone else has stated, I’m sure some company will scoop him up. He has a lot to offer in way of industry knowledge and connections.

  3. Jim was my account rep for several years at DS. He’s a great guy on a personal level and a wonderful rep. He looked out for his clients and quickly resolved any problems that came up. Jim has a depth of knowledge and a network of relationships that few can match. I look forward to working with him in whatever new role he chooses. Good luck, Jim!
