Hong Kong Geodomain Name For Sale

Wan Chai is a highly populated and popular area in Hong Kong, and I am looking to sell the domain name WanChai.com, which has a registration date of May 1998. My asking price in WanChai.com is $15,000, and the domain name is registered at Moniker. Email me if you are interested in buying the name, or post something in the comment section.

Not only is Wan Chai one of the busiest commercial areas in Hong Kong, with many companies operating there, but it is also home to many hotels, restaurants, and bars. The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre makes its home in Wan Chai, and there are a number of skyscrapers and office towers in Wan Chai. In addition, the district had a population of 167,146 in 2001.

According to Hotels.com, there are 30 hotels within a one mile radius of Wan Chai, including five 5-star hotels and eleven 4-star hotels. (The default Hotels.com link shows 121 hotels within 25 miles, but you can see the 30 hotels if you toggle to a 1 mile radius).   There are a number of tourist attractions, landmarks, and cultural activities in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. In addition, there is also great shopping in Wan Chai as well as dining.

Here are a few links to websites with information about Wan Chai, Hong Kong:

Most of the common domain extensions with WanChai are taken, and related IDN names are taken as well. I think owning the .com makes sense in this case since many foreigners who do business in the area will look for hotels, restaurants, and things to do, and the .com makes sense, especially for English speakers.

“I hope you dont mind me posting in your thread. ( :

Just a little bit of extra info in support of this name as I am in Hong Kong and Wan Chai in particular very often.

Wan Chai is an expat area, business district and is home to the best nightlife Hong kong has to offer.

A very small room where you literally can touch both walls with both hands can cost you $1000 a night.

This is the Manhattan of Hong Kong

A great name and I wish I had a use for it as I would definitely make you an offer.

    Good Luck.”

  2. Oh yeah, I have great memories of Wan Chai. I was bar hopping with another Canadian one night (actually three of us, one went home with the first girl he met, hehe) and just about when the sun started peering through the buildings in the AM was when we decided its probably best to go back to our hotels and sleep. Boy were we shit faced…

I think we even got chased down the street from the 7 Eleven vendor that we pissed off…

  3. I wish to register a few DOMAINS, ONLY with .com.hk and .hk suffix.

Can you share links for companies who do this in Hong Kong?

My friend carries a server space from Hostgator already.

Thanks for ur help, if U can provide, in advance.

    Cheers!
