Domain Holdings Hires Domain Industry Veteran Jim Grace, Formerly of Oversee

Jim Grace was a long time account manager at Oversee.net’s Domain Sponsor parking division.  I never worked with Jim, but I know several people who did and have nothing but good things to say about him. I just learned that Jim was hired by Domain Holdings, and the news will be made official in a press release tomorrow morning.

Jim will be working on Domain Holdings’  Domain Power monetization platform. Initial data released by the company looks promising. I would imagine the company has been winning new business, and an experience account manager like Jim can help Domain Holdings ramp that up.

The company has hired a number of industry experts over the last several months, so this hiring isn’t surprising. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see DH announce other experience new hires in the near future. If you know of someone looking for a career in the domain space, Domain Holdings is still hiring.

Here’s the full release:

Delray Beach, FL – Domain Holdings announced Thursday the hiring of long-time domain monetization specialist Jim Grace as the Director of Monetization. Grace’s primary role will be to identify and grow new market opportunities for the company’s flagship monetization platform – DomainPower.

“Jim has a proven track record of growing and sustaining relationships, and his savvy and industry insight will help us identify new market opportunities and continue the platform’s rapid growth,” Domain Holdings CEO Jason Boshoff said.

Grace has over 20 years in new business development and relationship management. Most recently he spent seven years at Domain Sponsor as a Senior Account Manager. There, Grace was responsible for handling the company’s top tier clients while also helping the company develop key business-to-business relationships with hosting companies and registrars.

“Domain Holdings has positioned itself as an alternative to traditional parking and provides its publishers and advertisers increased revenues. I am excited for the opportunity to join the team and be a part of the growth,” Grace said.

Prior to joining Domain Sponsor, Grace worked with 20th Century Fox and Spelling Entertainment as a client relationship specialist in Los Angeles, CA. Grace will make his public debut when Domain Holdings heads to Domaining Spain at the end of April. To contact Jim, email him at jim@domainholdings.com.

  1. I had the pleasure of meeting Jim twice in Toronto, he was very cool, always smiling and laughing. The toques he handed out from DS were nice too! In fact I still use mine and think of him each time.
